Urgent Need for Missionary/Member Care

Missiologists claim the attrition rates of global workers are at an all-time high. Some estimate over 7000 missionaries are leaving the mission field every year. Out of this group of missionaries, nearly 70% leave due to causes considered preventable if better care systems were accessible and implemented. Symptoms range from apathy to a once clarion call, to complete mental, relational and spiritual melt downs. A large number have completely abandoned a faith journey with Christ and His Great Commission initiatives.In the past two decades, a great deal of awareness has flooded the discussions of the missionary community. However, the need for all forms of counsel increases daily. We pray to the Lord of the harvest to send forth workers to care for those who have given their all to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
